Washing Instruction --- FAQ ---

12. HOW TO CLEAN DUVET?
General Care - Abrasion and soiling occur more at the edge closest to the face. To ensure consistent wear, rotate your duvet with each cover change. Air your duvet periodically, away from the suns damaging rays. Tumbling in a dryer set to air fluff will rejuvenate the down, optimizing it's insulating properties.
Washing - With careful use a duvet should only require washing every 5 - 10 years. Smaller sizes can be washed in a front load domestic machine. Larger sizes will require a commercial front load machine. Set the machine to gentle or delicate cycle using cool washer for both wash and rinse cycles. Set load capacity to maximum. Add recommended amount of non-deter- gent liquid washing solution. Once machine has filled, submerge duvet evenly. Allow cycle to complete. Repeat rinse cycle to ensure washing solution is completely removed. Small stains can be spot cleaned. Shift as much down as possible way from the stained area. Spot clean with asolution of non-detergent cleanser. Rub
the fabric to loosen the stain. Squeeze excess moisture out with a dry towel. Rinse with water. Use a hair drier to thoroughly dry area.
Drying - Drying your duvet can be time consuming. A queen size will take between 3 and 4 hours. Never apply heat. Tumble at air fluff setting. Remove on a regular basis turn and reinsert. The addition of some dry white towels will aid in drawing out moisture. Ensure that the duvet is thoroughly dry to alleviate the possibility of mold and mildew forming in the down.
